How can i save the last count if power is lost so i can start the count from where it left off?

The counts are on the tab labeled page 1.  I recieve a CAN message everytime a button is pressed.  The number of iterations should match my counts.  Each iteration all twelve pneumatic cylinders are fired and generate a count off the button, i in turn read each count.  The "numeric control" on the front panel is the number of cycles i wish to run, our target number of hitting the buttons.  The textbox isnt on the example bc the test isnt running and unless i have a problem with reseting, then i dont need the textbox i can read the tab that has the buttons counted.  Does this make more sense? I understand how to run labview fairly well i just dont know how to fix this problem

I'm having a hard time understanding what's going on in your VI as well.  There are plenty of examples of using configuration files as well as other File I/O operations.  You can find these by opening the Example Finder in LabVIEW (Help » Find Examples...) and going to Fundamentals » File Input and Output.  If you are having trouble with a specific part of this, let us know so that we can offer advice.
