How can the MATLAB server be reinitialized after the initial load?

The Matlab server does not appear to be reinitialized after the initial load of the calling VI. If the Matlab command window is closed after the initial load of the calling VI, it does not open on subsequent loads. Closing and restarting LabView (which is undesirable) appears to allow the Matlab command window to reload.

Hello Connie,

Are you using a Matlab Script node and which version of LabVIEW and Matlab are you using? The following Knowledge Base document might be helpful:
MATLAB Will Not Launch Automatically in LabVIEW 7.0

Let me know if you have more questions on this issue.
Good luck and best regards,

The link above presumably with the response to this question is no longer available.

In LabVIEW 2025 Q1, how can the MATLAB script server (MATLAB window) be re-initialized without restarting LabVIEW if the script server (MATLAB window) has been closed?
