How do I Configure the FTP Server on TPC-2016

I am not able to establish connection between TPC-2016 and Crio 9012 through cross over cable. i am not able to configure ftp server in TPC 2016 either.

as for the connection between the TPC-2016 and crio i am able to ping them seperately through the laptop with the same cable.
