How do I build an on-off-on boolean control?

I like your idea Altenbach.  I gave you a kudo.  Is there another way to vote for it?  I agree that during the development phase, an empty radio button structure should be allowed.  Of course it should produce a broken run arrow, but for editing purposes it shoudl be allowed.  Adding a new button would then restore the run arrow.

Using a radio button would suffice as a three position switch.  The lables could be used to describe the action (on1-off-on2).

tbob,

That has to be a record for the longest time from posting to receiving a kudos on record.

In the old forum format, the date was easily seen.  In the new look, it isn't so easy.  Maybe I'll make the Guiness Book of World Records. Smiley Very Happy

How about something like this?

A numeric slide with limits -1 and 1, with an increment of 1. Wire this to a =/= 0, and it will be true whenever the slide is set to -1 or 1!

You could customize the control to make it look more like a switch instead of a slider too.

edit: oops, didn't see that tbob posted almost the exact same solution already earlier in the thread here
