How do I communicate Fluke 8845A?

I have a Fluke 8845A and a driver for 884x.  This does not work with RS232.  Does anyone know how to get this to communicate?

The driver does support RS-232. Simply saying that the driver does not work does not provide very much information. What exactly does not work? What, if any, error messages or codes do you get? Have you verified the com settings of the instrument match the com settings in the initialize VI? Have you verified that the termination character setting of the instrument matches what the driver is using? Have you verified that you are using the correct serial cable? Have you tried communicating with a program such as Hyperterminal?

Yes,  I have tried everything, the hyperterminal, the settings, the cable etc...

Well, if you can't get it to work with Hyperterminal, you won't be able to get it to work with LabVIEW. Assuming that all of your checks have been done correctly and that you have also enabled the instrument for RS-232 (from the front panel) it would appear to be a hardware problem with the instrument or the com port of your pc. Checking the pc is easy with a loopback (connect pin 2 to pin 3). After that, it's time to contact Fluke.

Thank you Dennis.  I have tried the loopback test and it works also.  I will contact Fluke.
