How do I download older toolkits

Hello

 

I have LV2017 Pro installed and licensed. It is registered in My Products.

I also should have Database Connectivity Toolkit 2017 and Report Generation Toolkit 2017 but they do not appear in My Products.

I do not have a service contract and it appears I cannot find the serial numbers for the toolkits. NI have sent me the activations codes for all purchased software, labview 2017 serial number is shown in the email but the toolkits do not have a serial number.

 

I am unable to download the toolkits, it states that:

Previous versions are available only to customers with an active subscription license or service agreement for this product. Purchase a license or update your service information in your NI User Account to access locked versions.

 

The only way I can see to recover the already purchased software is to now purchase a service agreement. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? I am attempting to find any documentation from the purchases but after my SSDs funeral on friday I am unable to find anything.

Continuation is important, especially now with the Saas model.

 

My company still has a pre-subscription service agreement, and I always make sure I have all the various Labview versions downloaded and (if necessary) installed on a VM.  Those VM's are backed up on a network server.

 

[When the subscription model was announced I started to include any new Labview version we might switch to into this scheme.  I also test if my applications will continue working in these future versions.]

 

Hope you get this resolved without too much pain.

Yes it is definitely down to some shoddy housekeeping here. All other software on site is kept upto date and backed up etc. I am the only one here using LabView and it seems it has not been given the same due diligence.

 

I have some system backups from the now deceased setup so if I get desperate I will need to see if I can do something with those.
