How do I get a momentary switch, connected to a digital input on myDAQ, to latch and drive a digital output?

You're talking about a physical switch I assume since you say it's connected to a DAQ device. Why not simply buy a switch of the right type? Pretty low tech hardware. I know radio shack has them. Probably Wal-Mart, too.
