How do I read a word file with activex and Labview

Hello All:

I'm using Labview 2010.

1.  I would like to read the contents of a Microsoft Word File1.doc, using Activex.

     (I can write to a Word File but can not figure out how to READ from a Word File.)

2.  I also have the Report Geneartion KIT but there are NO examples on how to READ from a known File.
