How do I set thermocouple to differential mode in DAQmx Create Channel vi?

When I wanted to connect the thermocouples to my M series DAQ, I  wanted to configure them to differential mode but I could not find the input to the vi for channel configuration. Does DAQmx channel configuration vi automaticcaly configure them for differential mode?

The input is on the top of the DAQmx Create Channel VI as shown in the image below. I hope this answers your question.
