How do i programatically select all items in a tree

I have a Tree control that lists all files in a particular folder. I know that the user can select/deselect a certain/all files listed by using Shift or Ctrl buttons. Is there a way i can select all files by default by using the tree property/method ?

You can use the Value property node to do this.  I'll use the LV 7 Directory Hierarchy in Tree Control.vi as an example program.  First, make sure the tree control is set to have the proper Selection Mode ("0 or more" or "1 or more") by right clicking on it on the front panel.  Then, create a property node for 'value' from the control's reference terminal and set it to write mode.  Use this node to set the selected values.  For this example, copy the property node into the vi where the tree is built (Directory to Tree.vi) to get the File List names.  Wire this to the Value node, and multiple files get selected.
