I asked this question on a forum at AMD (Xilinx) but have yet to receive an answer, so I thought I would reach out to the NI community...
Can anyone explain how to configure a Pipelined FFT Streaming vi. (version 9) so that it has the same inputs and outputs as the FFT Streaming vi. (version 7.1) as shown in the attached image? All of my attempts thus far result in the version 9 vi. shown in the image. I also get an error message that states, "default location for Xilinx_Vivado_HLS not found". Even when I downloaded the Vivado 2024.2 Full Product installation, I still get the same error message and the inputs and outputs default to the values as shown. Since I'm using Labview 2019, I'm wondering if I should I use the Vivado 2019 version, or is this even going to solve the problem...? By the way, the FFT Streaming vi. lies at the core of an FPGA code that computes Lidar heterodyne aerosol signals. The earlier version of this code (created with Labview 2017 and written by an outside consultant) used the version 7.1 FFT Streaming vi. and was part of our first generation long-range Lidar system. I'm now in the process of building a new Lidar system with updated optical hardware and signal processing software and the Streaming vi. has become an unexpected obstacle. By the way, the NI computer in the new system is identical to the first unit and uses an NI 5771 A/D Digitizer.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated...!
Thanks and best regards,
Steve
