How do you create a max/min for a series of input in labview 2010

with labview is there a way to get max/min values from a series of inputs? I want it to graph the data and keep track of what the highest and lowest values were. I am using Labview 2010

Array Max and min should do the trick

"Should be" isn't "Is" -Jay

While you don't really define what you mean by a "Series of inputs", maybe Array Min&Max PrByPt might be of interest.

(For better help, attach a simplified VI that shows typical data.)

I am a student and we are using labview to organize a bunch of data in a lab. I was told to use Labview and I have no background using it. For the max/min we are going to link an outside source of data, a vaccum/pressure amounts. They also want me to somehow make alerts so that if the pressure reaches certain points it will send an email alert. No one knows how to use the program here so I am sort of stranded. Is there a online manual for 2010 or a way to chat with someone online as I'm working?

Hi Mike,

As a jumping off point, did you check out the resources at ni.com/gettingstarted? There are plenty of examples on the community for this sort of project, like this one on how to send an email from LabVIEW. How do you plan on getting the vaccum/pressure data into LabVIEW? Also, as a student you have free access to the Applications Engineering department here at National Instruments. You can call or email us from ni.com/ask

Cheers!
