How do you wake up a computer that's in 'sleep' mode to take a LabView reading?

I'm developing a Burn-in system that needs to take a reading, say, twice a day for months. Does anyone know of a way that would automatically wake up the computer and then have LabView log a reading? The computer would then go to sleep on its own.

If you are using xp,then have you tried task scheduler?
