How does the AWGN block work

Hello, im trying to add AWGN to a Sine wave, but I dont know how exactly this block works. Im referinf to the Gaussian White Noise Waveform vi. Can somebody explain me,, where or whitch link represents the Eo/No ... for example if i want to add noise to the signal in a range of -1.6 dB to 30 dB for example....

You will find all the help you need in help. If you are new to Labview I will recomend that you go to help in the menubar, and enable the "show context help". This can also be done key board Ctrl+h. I am also guessing you want to find your noise settings. The formula for signal to noise ratio (SNR) is 20x(log(Vnoise/Vsignal)). In other words an easy equation to slove if you have one unknow variable.

I am using Labview 8.6 and i have a Vi called "tones and noise.vi" Use Labview help and search for it

Good luck

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)
