How much for plug and play?

Are you a for hire programmer/consultant? We would like to use Labview with a Fluke Helios I (2289A), measuring temperature, amperage, voltage, wattage, and resistance. They are outputed from the Helios as a digital serial RS232 communication link. We can't find a driver for the Helios. Currently we use Labtech Notebook which has an internal driver and is very simple to use. The only problem is that we went to Windows NT version and now we are having problems with the Labtech software. We have the Labview eval version for NT.

Yes, I'm one of the many consultants on this "zone".
They/we develop drivers, assist customers in the LabVIEW learning-curve or provide complete T&M solutions.
I looked at the Fluke site and could not find the Helios, so I suppose it's an older instrument.
My last 3 big projects all were T&M renovation jobs, so LabVIEW seems to be good at renewing usefull applications.
If your lucky, somebody already did LabVIEW Helios programming. Just ask around on this site and other LabVIEW lists. Tip: use a title like "Fluke Helios 2289A driver wanted".
