That will depend on the manufacturer of the DIO boards.  If they are manufactured by National Instruments, you can do it with DAQ (I believe version 6.6 was current at that time, but it has been awhile).  If they are manufactured by someone else, you will need the driver and a LabVIEW toolkit to run them.  At this point, it may be difficult to get these, since that version of LabVIEW and that hardware are very old.  Please give us the board types and manufacturers and we may be able to help.

The board are manufactured by National Instruments. Their part numbers are

1. NI 776246-01 (ISA Based)

2. NI 777314-01 (PCI Based)

Why are you using Labview 4?

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

Zaib,

part numbers do not really help a lot. You should seek out the product name, something like PCI-6512 or similar.

Depending on this information, you most probably have to use NI DAQ or maybe some other driver.

Labview 4 is a very old Labview version. Can you tell us more about your full system setup. Like what kind of OS are you running it on?

NIdaq 6.6 is supported by Labview 4. If your PCI DIO 32HS is supported by NIdaq 6.6 for windows. Then you should be able port your code to the new board. If not you must use a newer Labview version.  You can use an older NIdaq version on newer Labview version. I have a bunch of old Daq516 PCMCIA cards that I use on Labview 8.6 (in hobby project) with NIdaq 6.9.3 work just fine
