How to add xcontrol in the controls palette

 I have built an installer to send the whole XControl llb to user.lib.But the XControl doesn't show in the user controls palette.Do I have to select my xcontrol by "select controls" in the LabVIEW front panel?

Install it in the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\addons per example. put it in a sub folder to keep it clean.

I think this is a bug!

LabVIEW's palette indexer seems to ignore XCTL files.
