How to calculate the RMS of a waveform

Hi there,

I haven´t worked with signal analysis yet, I need to calculate the RMS of the signal shown on the graph in the attached VI.

I don´t need a final solution, just some hints or tipps...!

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Use the waveform measurement functions.

Check attachment,

Hope it helps,

Yes, I know. But I need the RMS for every period, it schould be shown as a waveform in the 2nd graph!

The frequency of your signal is not proportional to your sampling frequency (the division is 10.07), so I guess this may have some errors, but I think it can get you started.

Thank you very much! That's just what I was looking for!!!

I´ll study the source and hope I can get deeper in labVIEW singal analysis!
