How to capture several webcameras using LabVIEW?

Hi!

I would like to hear your opinion regarding the possibility to capture impages from two-three webcameras using LabVIEW. I will use the software to check the status in a welding cell. My current idea is to capture the images and just display them on a frontpanel, I don't need to save the data in any way. I'm thinking about using simple webcameras like Logitech Fusion.

I would be very grateful if anyone have suggestions for my further work or sample code for capturing images using webcameras.

I have LabVIEW Full development system, no additional toolboxes.

Hi Mattias,

You should look in the Machine Vision forum, you will find relevant information there.

Should work either with NI usb camera driver either with activeX.
