How to change series or line color in excel 2007 using ActiveX

In Excel 2007 Border is now a hidden property of Series. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb242669%28v=office.12%29.aspx

In Visual Studio it is possible to unhide the hidden properties. Not sure how do it in LabVIEW.

You are very right nyc.

I had to trick it I suppose.  First I found a property node with border as an option.  then switched the reference back to Series and Border stuck...  works for me.

Check the shots for what I used to get Border, what it looks like now, and a list of options for that node that do not include Border...

Thanks

That's great!

I'll have to remember to do that "trick".

I'd like to confirm with Tim how he did it.  But I don't know of another way.  I would like to know how to do this properly.  What if the command I am looking for isn't in another reference as an option?!

I guess the story is to check if they are hidden like you suggested.

Thanks again

Tim was probably using Excel 2003 or earlier.

As the Microsoft documentation shows, the Hidden was changed when going from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007.
