How to change the *.* displayed in the dialog box of the "Open/Create/Replace File" VI

Hi,

I was wanting to change the default file type that's displayed in the "Save as" box from "*.*" to "*.txt"
of the "Open/Create/Replace File" VI. I've checked out the block diagram of the VI and I dont see anything
that appears related to this. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreiated.

Wire the *.txt string into the pattern input on the Open/Create/Replace File VI. It is on the top just to the right of center. Since it is set to optional, it may not show up in context help depending on how you have context help set up.
