How to communicate to IR device

I have a device with IR port, how to communicate the device using labview software

You'd need an IR transmitter that's compatible with whatever IR protocol your device uses. If you don't have one of those, you're not going to get very far. I'm not sure, but I think some of the Lego Mindstorms stuff has an IR transmitter, so you might want to check there first.
