This is an I2C application. I am currently automating a test station for a power amplifier and would like to call functions
from the I2C library using Labview 5.1

There is not enough data to help you here. What I2C library, what DLL, some documentation or at least header files for your DLL, your VIs you have created and such would be the least one would need to possibly help you.
