How to copy files from CDROM, when installing VI to the stand alone PC

Hi,

     I want to have a VI which will copy files from CDROM to C:Drive of the PC. As i am not getting from which drive i should copy the files as each stand alone PC will name CDROM drive by its own name like F:\,  E:\,  G:\ drive. I want to know from which drive i should use to copy the files from CDROM. Please help me in this regards.

You can find this lib for windows API, which will help you to check the drive type.

Use "Get All Drives Info.vi" to read all the information about all the drives.
