How to create a Detect Device Feature in my program

When a device is connected to my program, I wish to see some indications, like the name and properties of the device, to appear on the left side of the front panel. I have attached my program. Pls kindly advise what are the tools or functions i should use and how should I connect them to my program. Thanks a million!!

Could not open your vi.

But I suggest you go through the example codes in  these two links: one is to get device info using DAQmx property nodes and other to get info for VISA Devices

See if you can incorporate it in your code

Its ok do not repost your VI,  I could not open because I might be having a lower version of LabVIEW.
