How to create a ROI Descriptor using controls?

Dear Michaelmexes,

I'm still not sure what you are trying to do. You want to move an ROI programmatically, and this ROI is in some way related to the Geometric Pattern Matching function is LabVIEW. Which Geometric Matching VIs are you using? What is you goal in moving an ROI programmatically? Are you using a VI that requires an ROI descriptor input, like IMAQ Match Geometric Pattern?

Please let us know your overall all goal, and what functions you are currently using to try to achieve that goal. What are the obstacles that you are encountering? We'd like to help, but we do need more information.

                                   Finally i got it... Actually i want to read words with OCR... Anyway thank u everybody for answering my questions patiently...
