How to create time delay between two square signal waveforms

Hi GerdW,

I have just editted my previous message, but you have not seen it I think.

Unchecking the waveform graph "ignore time stamp" option corrects it (see below). At least it is seen. Actually the vi works without problem but I was not able to see it on the graph due to ignoring of time stamps. Am I right?

Hi Egemen,

atleast for the graph this could be the solution…

Best regards,
GerdW

Doesn't it mean if I use these vi to generate AO, it generates them sequentially? Is it a virtual result only?

Hi Egemen,

when you setup a DAQmx task with two AO channels and supply a waveform for each channel I guess both channels will be started at the same time.

On the other hand you probably need to have both AO channels in just one task, depending on your DAQ hardware…

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

I am planning to use that vi only to create a time delay between two waveforms and generate a AO signals in one task. I modified an example vi to generate finite output AO with a delay on the second signal. Do I think in the wrong way?

By the way, I am planning to do it with NI USB-X 6353 or  6343.
