How to deal with the problem; DAQ task dose not work?

Hello.

I have the problem that DAQ task dose not work.

I need to use DAQ task to operate USB-6501.

When I clicked DAQ task in LabVIEW, the LabVIEW was frozen. In NI-MAX, it wasn't answered, too.

I checked USB-6501 in other NI-MAX. In the result, USB-6501 worked.

So I think that is DAQ's problem but I don't have any ideas to deal with this.

If you have any idea, please let me know...

<<situation>>

Now I'm using these systems;

  Name                                    Version

LabVIEW                                 11.0.0

NI-DAQmx Device Driver         9.3.5f2

NI Web says LabVIEW11.0 is compatible with NI-DAQmx 9.3.5.

How and where do you "click DAQmx task" in LabVIEW? Mind to attach your VI?

You could NOT test the USB6501 device in MAX? Did you run the device self-test or did you open any testpanel?

When connecting the USB6501 to a different computer you could run the tests within MAX?

Did you try to cleanup the device list in MAX (as described here)?

Btw.: when writing your questions in Japanese you should post directly in the Japanes regional forum…

Best regards,

Thank you for giving me many advices.

The answers are following:

How and where do you "click DAQmx task" in LabVIEW? Mind to attach your VI?

→I opened "DAQ task name" and  clicked "Reference" to make new task of

You could NOT test the USB6501 device in MAX?

→ I confirmed there was USB6501 in NI-MAX and could test it.

Did you run the device self-test or did you open any testpanel?

Yes. It worked in both.

When connecting the USB6501 to a different computer you could run the tests within MAX?

→Yes. I checked it that way.

Did you try to cleanup the device list in MAX (as described here)?

→Yes but DAQ task did not work.

From your advices, I thought that was NI-DAQ's problem itself.

So I upgraded NI-DAQ, and then DAQ task has worked.

PS.

→ Thank you for pointing it out! This time is first time for me to post questions. From next time I'll do so.

And sorry to be late to response. I didn't know rule: As a new user, you can only post twice in the first 24 hours.
