How to edit measurement automation explorer custom scales?

Solved!
Go to solution

I created an incorrect custom scale in MAX, and I'd like to edit it.  But when I click on the wrench icon next to the scale name in the drop down menu, nothing happens.  I created another scale with a different name, so I can use that one, but if things ever change, I'll have to create a third scale.  Additionally, there doesn't appear to be an option to delete an old scale.

Any ideas?  This is a fresh install of MAX 4.6.1f0 on Windows XP.

Not sure why clicking on the wrench does nothing.  You should also be able to access your custom scales in the Configuration window under My System»Scales»NI-DAQmx Scales.  Can you open your scales from there, edit, and save them?

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I was able to edit, save, and delete from My System»Scales»NI-DAQmx Scales.  Still doesn't work from within the DAQmx task view, but this is good enough for now.  Maybe I'll try reinstalling when I have the time.
