How to find location of cursor in string indicator?

Subject say it all...I'd like to be able to determine the location of the cursor in a string indicator on my front panel...

Use the Property Node for Text - Selection - Start and End.  The selection starts with 0.  In other words, a 0 means the cursor is before the first character.
