How to generate pulse to trigger camera?

Hi:

My case is:

I am doing tensile test now, and I want to use DAQmx to acquire the load data and monitor the data, when it suddenly drop to 0, use labview program to generate a pulse signal to stop the cemara, like a trigger.

Can someone tell me some useful ways to achieve it?

Thanks a lot.

What kind of camera do you have and how fast does it need to respond to the load change?

Hello zhdhappy,

Here is a tutorial that might help you with that

https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/21/ni-daqmx-data-acquisition-triggering-tec...

In that tutorial there are a couple of ways you can do it, you just have to adjust them to your application and the signals that you are handling. Hope this helps.

Regards.
