What I mentioned was that even if you use LV 8.6, you can back-save the VI [Save for previous version] down upto LV 8.0.

This will help people who use the lower versions of LV to open & view the VI we post.

But, if you post a VI in the latest version of LV, more chances are that many people would not have upgraded to the latest version, so cant open & see the VI.
