How to make numeric control default to last entered value in *.exe application

How can you make numeric controls default to or save last value that is entered and come back up at this value when routine is restarted?

Application - Temp moniot with alarms in an executable.  Alarm limits are set or changed while application is running.  Power outage or restart causes application to restart.  How can I make the program come up with the last alarm settings?

You're going to need to create a program structure that saves the values to a file before the program ends and reloads them at the beginning of the program.  If the program stoppage is completely unexpected, (like due to a power loss), you will need to save out the values to a file everytime they are changed.
