How to measure resistance using voltage excitation in Labview

Hi,

When measuring resistance, Labview actually performs a test current to measure the voltage across my resistance and according to that get the value for the resistance. My first question is, I am using a DAQ USB-6218 which can not perform internal current excitation, any suggestions on how to create an external current source for this?

The other issue is that I want to measure impedance just the opposite way, by creating a voltage source and I did not find information for that here and Labview only allows me to perform current test. Thank you¡

Hi vic,

are you by any chance working in the same group as NR_leo? Read suggestion by Blokk!
