How to measure temperature variation by time using two voltimets (agilent 34410A and Keithley 2400-C.

Hi everyone,
I'm starting to work with labview and I'm having trouble creating the diagram to perform this task, please.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you very much

Well, if you want to get proper help, you need to write a proper question. You did not so far. For example, we have no idea what kind of temperature sensor you want to use?

If you have a 2 or 4 wire RTD (like PT100) sensor, just plug it into the Agilent DMM, and select the PT100 config from the menu, the unit will directly measure temperature for you.

Another option, is to make a thermistor bridge, and supply it with a small constant current using the Keithley 2400. Then, you can measure voltage drop across the bridge using the Agilent unit. You can calculate the resistance of the actual thermistor, and finally apply the thermistor equation to get temperature.

Both units have LabVIEW driver available, with shipped examples. So when you have your hardware config built-up, you can make the LabVIEW part easy.

If you are beginner in LabVIEW, start to learn using the available options, depending on your licence: http://www.learnni.com/
