How to pass a reference of Obtain Notifier to another VI.

Ah, sorry, I meant simply that you can use the copy-paste method to obtain a control or indicator for a notifier reference.  You still need to connect that to a terminal on the connector pane and wire a value to it, as you are apparently doing.
