How to play and gather information from a .wav file on LabVIEW 8.5 for Mac OS X

I am trying to play a .wav file so after playing it, I can gather information from it, and later apply some filters, windows, and output graphs. However I can't seem to figure out how to connect the Snd Play Wave File, I can se the graph and the bit rate, but it doesn't play any sound.

Hi Victor!

There are a few documents online that might be of help to you. The main thing that comes to my mind is that you need to configure some settings. Also i think you can try to first read the data using Snd Read Wave File   and then play it using the function Snd Play Wave File.

It works fine on my Mac.   Snd Play Wave File.vi definitely plays the sound.  

You say that you can see the graph and the bit rate: Snd Play Wave File.vi does not have these, so exactly what are you looking at? Can you post a copy of the program which is not working for you?

Have you tried other .wav files?
