Hi,
I am a beginner in Labview and PXI platform.
I have a NI-PXI-1033 chasis with three PXI cards in it and I need to connect it to the Dell Desktop. But I do not have the MXI-Express Remote controller with me.
Actually, the set up has been done previously in the lab but now it has been physically shifted from one lab to another so a few components are missing ].
I need to know exactly what hardware I need to purchase and what will be the cost of the hardware (MXI controller).
The software corresponding to the set up has already been written in Labview 10.1. So please let me know whether any additional driver software will also be required to install the MXI controller.
Also the desktop which I have been given is quite old and it does not have any Pcie slot and I have seen the MXI controller is a Pcie card, so please let me know wheather there is any PCI card is available which will work with Ni-PXI-1033.

You should get in touch with your local NI Application Engineer.
In the meantime, check out:

Hi Shakya,
I hope you are doing well today! In looking at the PXI-1033 chassis, it includes an integrated MXI-Express controller within the chassis. Therefore, if you only have the chassis, you will need a PCI MXI-Interface card as well as a MXI cable to connect your chassis to your desktop. I have attached a link to the PXI-PCI8361 product page, which also has just the PCI8361 MXI-Express card available. I would suggest that you contact your National Instruments Account Representative, as they will be able to help you in ordering exactly what you need for your current setup. I hope this helps, Shakya. Have a great day!
