How to read a TMS320C40 Comm port with Labview?

Hi All,

I  have to capture data from a TMS320C40 Comm Port.

I guess I could do it using LabVIEW Graphical Development Tool (or even better, using some  LabView Add-on?)

Is anyone familiar with reading C40 ports?

LabVIEW has functions that can be configured to do "serial" communications, if that is what you are looking for. I'm not sure what you mean by LabVIEW Graphical Development tool, if you mean the LabVIEW development environment then no "add-on" isn't needed. LabVIEW is a full featured programming environment that allows you to "write" programs in "G" using graphical elements to build the program. Give us a little more detail of what you are trying to do with the 'C40, what it's comm port requirements are (std RS232?) and we can probably help.
