How to refresh MAX-Items programmatically?

Hello,

during runtime of my LabVIEW application several Virtual Com Ports are installed and deinstalled. Windows Device Manager shows all the Virtual Com Ports without delay. To register these Virtual Com Ports in MAX I have to run View>>Refresh or press <F5>. Can I run this funktion in LabVIEW programmatically?

The VI <vi.lib>\nisyscfg\Find Hardware.vi does not effect this.

Have you tried "Find Resources" yet? I think that would do the same thing.

BTW: It's under Instrument I/O--->VISA--->Advanced
