How to regulate a prosess?

Hello...

I'm a 18 year old student from Norway, and I use Labview a lot at school.....
Now I'm trying to regulate a prosess with a tank that I'm going to reulate water in. But I can't get Labview to send signals to my output, I need 1-5Volts.
I have no problem reading 1-5Volts in. Can it be the PID in example that dosn't work?
Hope you understand waht my problem is...
Sorry for my bad english!!

Hi Vidar,

What do you use to send the (control) signal? Is it a DAC, Digital IO, serial device, etc?

Hello

I'm using a DAQcard, PCI-6024E.
And my external card is SC-2075.
Do you have or know where I can get a god PID and PI regulator alsow?

Vidar,

I am not sure which PID example you are currently using, but I would suggest that you consider one of the following:

PID Control Loop.vi
Real-Time PID Control.vi

Both of these examples are available in LabVIEW.

Good luck with your application.
