How to remove a plot area from a mixed XY-chart?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi Application Engineers,

I used a sample VI, mixed signal graph.vi, there were  multiple plots in groups 0 and 1 originally, I was able to add a new plot as group 2 by right-click the chart edge and select Add Plot Area,  the new plot worked fine. however, I was not able to remove the added plot area (group 2). because there is no Remove Plot Area selection in the pup up list. Could someone help me with the issue? attached is the VI.

Thanks,

Gu

Where do you click on the plot? If I right-click on the area shown, I see the "remove plot area" option

Hi   Gregory,

Thank you for your reply. The remove plot area shows up when I right-clicked the added plot area as your marked instruction.

I added the plot area by right-clicking the edge of the graph, and thought to remove the plot area in the same way as I added.  However, the remove plot area does not show up with right-clicking the edge of the whole graph.

Best regards,

Gu
