How to run IDL script from LabView

Hi,

I have recently come to know that IDL scipt can be compiled from LabView and I believe that it's a new added features. However, I do not have any idea of how to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dushyant,

IDL script was actually developed by one of our Alliance members and they have developed a LabVIEW toolkit for it as well. You can find information about it on the following website: http://www.rsinc.com/idl/script_node.asp
You might be able to make IDL calls using ActiveX from LabVIEW directly but this can get tricky. Here are some tutorials on how to do ActiveX calls from LabVIEW in case you need some help with that: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/5401be584fbaeece862567c2006d36c7
