How to run realsense pointcloud successfully

I am developing with D435i from realsense.

I want to know which coordinates of the feature point coordinates of the shoulder extracted in the RGB color image are in the distance image. In other words, I want to align the coordinates of the two images.

As a means to achieve this, I thought it would be possible to use pointcloud.
However, my pointcloud.vi does not work at all as shown in the picture.
Can someone please advise me how to get my pointcloud to work properly.
Also, if there is any other way to do coordinate alignment, please let me know.

It would have been useful to give a link to the source and drivers so we don't need to search.

It is possible that your problems are due to poor coding of the demo.

(Personally, I would probably first clean up and rewrite that demo from scratch, but that's probably a different discussion 😉 An event for the stop button would eliminate the empty timeout event, would allow latch action and would eliminate the local variable. Virtually all local variables can be eliminated and it is certainly not useful to read them over and over in innermost loops. Most drivers have abysmal terminal assignments, Use of symbolic fonts on the front panel will mess things up on most PCs (overlapping text elements). Glaring race conditions (It is likely that the depth_width and depth_lenght locals get read way before their terminals get written ... and NO, the sequence structure around them does absolutely nothing!) etc. etc.)

Hi altenbach
Thanks for calling.

There may be shortcomings in these samples, as other samples may not behave as desired.
Do I just need to make the sample vi more concise to achieve my objective?

Sincerely.

The RBG and depth images are not aligned in the LabVIEW example.  It appears that they did just enough development of the wrapper that they could show a color overlay, but did not do the image transformations necessary to obtain good alignment.  That said, zdz reports solving the problem per his description included in the post linked below.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I had seen the URL before. The URL you sent is the solution to my problem.
I am in the process of setting up a program to be able to do what zdz did.

Thanks again for getting back to me.
