How to save to LabVIEW 7.0 using LabVIEW 2010

I have an old machine using LabVIEW 7.0. Since this machine is frequently in use and I don't know how to save to 7.0 from 2010, I have a difficult time writing changes to VI's or new VI's without downtime.

Upgrading this machine is propably not going to happen due to cost of hardware that will run on a newer version of MAX and cost of a newer license.

I can open VI's from 7.0 using 2010, but how do I save to 7.0 using 2010?

You can't directly.

You need to use LV 2010 to save back to LV 8.0.  Then use LV 8.0 to save back to 7.1.  Then use 7.1 to save back to 7.0.

If you only have a few things to do, you can ask here. downconvert.  But if you need to to this frequently, it will be a pain in the butt.
