How to set PCR temperature profile in LabVIEW?

As you know, the PCR temperature profile is based on three temperature set-points? I would like to find some resources here. I am also very appreciate if there is a demo VI for that.

Wingston,
Please give us some more information on what PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction?) Temperature and the tree set points are.
There is no LabVIEW shipping VI that would specifically set this value. If you already have a formula that would calculate the PCR temperature based on the three temperature inputs, then just use the Formula Node in LabVIEW.

Well, I've attached a picture from research paper to discribe the temperature cycle. Typically, I need to set the temperature profile and get measurement results from RTD/thermalcouple, then run PID to make dedicate adjustment. The first difficult to me is how to set this kind of cyclic profile? Furthermore, I want to set each time delay in the three temperature stages.
Now I try to use Simulate Arnitary signal in LabVIEW v7 to do this work. Any suggestion or good approaches?

Wingston,

Your approach is correct. "Simulate arbitrary signal" vi allows to define any kind of waveform as well as setting periodic repetition. Double click its icon and set "Start over when end of signal is reached" checkbox. "X values repeat" and "X values continue" define the behaviour after reaching the end of data. Please find attached an example of PCR-like profile generated by the vi.
