How to stop dial control from being turned through gap between min and max?

The dial control normally rotates clockwise from xero (at 7 o'clock) to full (at 5 o'clock). But it can be turned counter-clockwise in a jump from zero to full and cause big problems. Is there any dial property to prevent the user from making the CCW jump to full?

If this is a concern, don't use a dial. Replace it with a slide. 😉

You could also lessen the problems by using a multiturn knob, such as the example I posted a while ago here at the bottom of the page.

Thank you. I decided to make the scale visible so the user can see that the knob should not be turned through the void.
