How to transfer data ?

Hello all,

              I am planning to create a program to send any type data with TCP/IP, Yes, I can achieve labVIEW inside data transfer and send/read, but how can I transfer whole files at my PC ? for example, a video, a *.dat file, or other format file ? how can I transfer them? I want to send them with TCP/IP.

I also think that FTP will be more efficient and maybe also easier to use. Do you have the "internet toolkit" ? If yes there are some very good example VIs from which you can get inspired (Help >> Find example >> search for "ftp")
