How to turn off a serial touch screen controller in labview.

The touchscreen is a mirco touch controller. I am using labview 7.1 The controller is a serial interface. I need to turn it off and on at different times.

You can communicate with the serial interface by using VISA which you can download from here.

If you need to switch off and switch on your controller, you will need to issue commands that do so which can be found in the manual of the controller. These commands can be issued from LabVIEW using the VISA VIs.
