How to upgrade system from serial communication to parallel communication

Thanks Coq rouge . I never said that it is a labview problem, I asked if i changed serial communication to parallel how much my communication Vi will change.

you understood my problem correctly. Thank you for your advice but i did not understand if m connecting more 4520 adam cards ,say for each ADAM card. I will be able to access

all inputs at a time ,but then how i should transmit data on a unique communication line? Each card will be connected to separate 4520 right?

If you want to poll N serial devices in parallel, you need N serial ports. In this case you need 7 RS-485 ports, one for each ADAM I/O module.
